Making a Low Carb Healthy Breakfast in Dubai for a Keto Diet

  • Now heat 1tbsp olive oil in a nonstick pan and ½ medium sliced onions, and 8 ounces of baby Bella chopped mushrooms. Stir and cook for 10 minutes until the onions are soft and the mushrooms are cooked down. If you are not a fan of mushrooms you can always switch them with some healthy and delicious spinach.
  • Add 8 ounces of chicken sausage. Cook for 8 minutes and break the meat apart until it's completely cooked through.
  • Mix the meat and vegetables together in a large bowl and add cheese and stir them all together.
  • Now the last step is to place the mixture with a spoon in the pepper shells. Season it with salt and pepper over top. After the mixture is carefully placed now crack an egg each in single bell pepper. If you prefer a scrambled egg then whisk the eggs together in a bowl and spoon the eggs over the mixture.
  • Bake the bell peppers for 25-28 minutes in an oven if you want a runny yolk. But if you prefer a completely cooked yolk then let it cook for a few more minutes. Top with whatever you want, with cheese or cilantro.
